"Teach Your Children Well"

Teach your children to go after their dreams, even if it means living in a tent. They will learn to be grateful and content.

Teach them to make the hard decisions when they need to be made. They will learn to stay on the right path

Allow them to face hardship, even if that means they might not like you for awhile. They will learn to overcome.

Give them the power to become who they were meant to be, even if it scares you. They will learn that all things are possible.

Teach them that no matter the decision they make they are always loved and excepted. They will learn to be fearless.

When they come home, meet them with open arms, not condemnation and silly expectations. They will learn to be secure in love.

Allow them room to fail cause that's how we learn.

Always find some way to encourage their independence and to know they can always come home. They will learn to comfort others.

If we do these things we will position our kids to learn the greatest lesson of all; to trust in God for the outcome

If we don't teach em how to deal with the hard stuff, they will never have their own life, they will always be co-dependent and they will never know the value of Trusting in God.

These lessons are hard to learn after you've already become old. Trust me that's when I began to learn them and it wasn't fun.
As Steven Stills said, "Teach your children well."

Job Description

Real simple folks . . .
It is Jesus' Job description to save us, deliver us, heal us, and make us whole.
It is our job description to receive it, ( what he has already done for us ), and believe it.

"There is no other name by which a man must be saved."

PS know His job descripton and yours.  You do yours and He will do His . . . I promise  :)

The Requirement of the Law; Yeshua's Finished Work

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.  For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,  that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1-4

The first few chapters of Leviticus are about how to perform properly the animal sacrifices required to make atonement for the various sins an Israelite might commit; known or unknown.

Levitical laws reveal three things:
  1. Who the Lawbreaker is
  2. What the penalty for breaking the Law is,  the shedding of our blood usually.  But God in His great mercy GAVE us another option.  :)
  3. The Requirement of the Law needed for being a Lawbreaker and NOT being punished for it. Which is how the infraction of the law might be atoned for. In every case the atonement was made by blood sacrifice. The only thing that could fulfill the requirement of the Law, and was/is, acceptable to God is The shedding of Blood.  In this case the blood of sheep, goats, doves, bulls, etc.  Later, it would be the blood of God's own Son.

In Romans 8:4 Paul tells us Yeshua/Jesus Fulfilled the “Righteous requirement of the Law by the shedding of His blood.
(see item 3 above)

He fulfilled the righteous requirement of the law by becoming the perfect sacrifice. The Lamb that was slain, for us all, from the foundation of the Earth.

In the shedding of his blood Yeshua/Jesus fulfilled all the righteous requirements of the Law for us! Therefore it is later said, 'there is now therefore any more atonement for sin other then the one that was made!'  Which as i said what Yeshua did for us.

What Yeshua/Jesus did for us that day was to completely, and for all time, make atonement for those that would receive it through the shedding of His blood!

When we are covered by the blood of Yeshua, Jesus, we are 'in' Christ.

'For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.'
Colossians 3:3

The result of that is:
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.”
The words translated 'spiritual blessing' come from the Greek word 'pnuematicos.'

Pneumaticos means to have the indwelling nature and character of Christ in us.
'As he is in the earth so are we.'
His presence in us blesses our Spirit, our mind, our body.
'And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.'  Colossians 1:17

His Blessing that's in us makes us prosper in all we need to prosper in all the time when we realize it and receive it.
'By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world.' 1 John 4:17

Why? Because His blood fulfilled the righteous requirement of the law for us once and for all time.
Nothing can separate us from Him, or the blessings that come from Him, because we are in Him and He is in us! (See Romans 8)

Receive the atonement of Yeshua's blood today and stop struggling to fulfill what has already been fulfilled 2000 years ago; The righteous requirement of the Law!

Thing's to Come

'Things to Come”

Well near time for me to go . . . I'd tell ya more, but I guess I am now
Just some old news. Don't forget the One I've told you of, He is still King of all that is above!
Soon He will be here and your time to have found what you were really searching for will have run out like the sand close to the shore.
He said, 'they will run to and fro and their hearts will fail them for the fear of things to come.' So just look up and you will see Him coming in the clouds His Sons and Daughters to bring more of His great Love.

Prayer

A little thought on prayer and always asking for it when ya need it . . . I learned this the hard way by losing everything I had including my health.

Consider this: We all have to learn to be at peace with our self , with life,  and our circumstances for our spirit to be healed. Healing Aways begins there.  It is proactive and not reactive.  Romans 8:28

It is hard in ourselves to do that sometimes. because we are overwhelmed with the size of the problems that face us instead of the size of the God who loves us.

Jesus was at perfect peace, when in the boat during the storm. (In fact he was asleep) The disciples however weren't at peace.
Jesus said to them, 'Oh you of LITTLE faith.'
Later Paul said, 'The life I NOW live is by the Faith OF Jesus. Not faith IN Jesus.
Our faith in Jesus is what opens the door to the faith OF Jesus.

Jesus has big faith and He will exchange His Big faith for our little faith every time we ask Him to.

And in that, no matter the storm of life we are presently in, we WILL cross over to the other side of the Lake and not drown in the storm.
'Ask that your joy might be full.'
"Oh what needless grief we bear all because we don't take everything to Him in prayer."

Just talking about faith is not faith, We got to do what He actually said about prayer and then learn to pray without ceasing . . That's how real faith and prayer work.

He asked us,  'Why do you call me  Lord Lord, why don't you try actually doing the things I say?'  I think he meant, among other things, to actually get grounded in the word, know what it says, apply it to our circumstances and to actually begin to live by faith and prayer.  all done from a place of victory and not defeat.

Gifts

'The Gift That Was Given'

The gift that was given
Sprang forth from the ground
'Twas thought to be hidden
But in that it did not abound

The gift that was given
Finally brought me to see
A joyful sight no eye could see
And caused me to hear
A Glorious sound no ear could hear

The gift that was given
Full of Mercy, solace, and Grace
Of that terrible Hound
Had not one trace

The gift that was given
I did freely receive
'Twas freely given
When first I chose
To believe

In the gift that was given
I forever abide
Living in it's rich Grace
I now reside

In the gift that was given
I've found that Great Seed
Promised long ago

For in my heart it has risen
For which it did bleed
In that I've been given
All I will ever need

Song of the Beaver

I'm not a poet.  I have never written poetry nor even read it much.  Everyday since my heart stopped I've been hearing poetry in my spirit . . .  Here's the latest.

At dawns first light
The spirit of the Beaver
called to me

He said without remorse
and with some force
come and see

You who have eyes to see
And ears to hear
Even now the axe is laid
To the root of the tree

Two have fallen
And one remains
Soon I am coming
With healing in my wings

To remove from you
all your pain
And in that
There will be so much gain

So let not your heart
Be troubled
Neither let it be afraid
nor given to despair
For the foundation has
Already been laid

As I was reading from Mark, looking at the trees in the pic, the wind blew my pages.  I tried to turn them back but every time I did they blew  right back to this passage; Luke 3:4-11
 It's a Mystery . . .
